Legacy is Australian progressive artist created by Rhyss Shandiman based in North Queensland. For many years, this unique project has taken on many influences from around the world, but has tailored a sound specific to the region of Australia where he as been based. Cairns. Being an integral member of the local outdoor psychedelic music community, this has given him many opportunities to be a part of showcasing local talent. As Co-Founder of No Qualms records, Rhyss has also had the opportunity to really experience progression in his local area. In 2012, Rhyss was given a great opportunity at the Eclipse festival in Cairns, which involved himself, and Jekyll (Fellow founder of No Qualms) being given the tedious task to co-ordinate the Axis stage at the festival. Along with this, they both were given a set on the main stage first afternoon to a packed house. Legacy has performed on the at many festivals around the globe including such festivals as Universo Paralello, Eclipse Festival Cairns, Earth Frequency, Alienation, Manifest and Newpsycle. Musically, Legacy has released a few different labels, including Cosmic Conspiracy, Solar Records, 3l3mental and of course No Qualms, with his EP's “One Sitting & Question Authority”. Also having 2 EP’s with previous project on Plusquam records. With many future releases on the way, definitely keep you ears peeled for more Legacy to come, and No Qualms records.
